Helping Hearts Heads & Hands, Inc. is a non profit organization that brings together “Helping Hands, Heads & Hearts” under the common goal of improving the world we live in by:

  1. Working with impoverished communities to establish initiatives that help younger generations acquire knowledge and skills necessary to improve their chances of success

  2. Providing communities, individuals and families living under extreme poverty with the tools and resources they need to progress and sustainably move beyond poverty

  3. Looking after the elder and/or handicapped individuals of this world, assuring they are adequately cared for and have the items necessary to live a painless and fulfilling lives

Helping Hearts Heads & Hands started in 1998 with a small group of volunteers who headed towards the northern coast of the Dominican Republic to donate clothing, food and participate in the rebuilding efforts for those communities devastated by Hurricane George.

For the past decade, the relief effort of 1998 transitioned to a yearly Holiday Food Basket donation for impoverished families across the country. In 2008, the initiative was expanded to Haiti following the devastating impact of a late season hurricane that impacted the region.

During this time 4Hs has touched the lives of over 5,000 families across the island and has donated more than $16,000 in funds thru this cause.

Today Helping Hearts Heads & Hands consists of a growing number of volunteers and is involved in several activities focused on helping communities thrive and move out of poverty across the Caribbean.

CONGRATULATIONS TO 4Hs FOUNDER JOSE TIBURCIO!

Jose was recently recognized by PepsiCo with the Harvey Russell Chairman’s Award for 10 years of hard work and dedication to provide relief to families in Dominican Republic and Haiti. This award is long overdue and extremely well deserved. Please join us in congratulating Jose on his accomplishment.

The Chairman's Award is the highest honor at PepsiCo. It recognizes and rewards those individuals and teams who have distinguished themselves as truly extraordinary and serve as an inspiration to all of us. To honor those who have helped PepsiCo advance our commitment to world-class performance in diversity and inclusion, we have created a unique Chairman's Award called the Harvey C. Russell Inclusion Award.

The Harvey C. Russell Inclusion Award was created to recognize outstanding accomplishments, above and beyond a person's traditional responsibilities, that accelerate PepsiCo’s vision of creating a diverse and inclusive environment. Harvey C. Russell was chosen as the namesake for this prestigious award, because his leadership, perseverance, and commitment to "raising the bar" are the foundation upon which PepsiCo's diversity initiative is built.
